Petra Luna

Petra Luna of Batesville passed away on June 20, 2017 at her residence at the age of 72. She was born on November 20, 1944 in Batesville to Juvencio and Concepcion (Rodriguez) Luna.
She is survived her daughters, Bertha Galindo of Houston, Nelda Cuellar and husband, Ramon of Freeport and Elizabeth Gomez of Houston; sons, Jorge Alberto Villarreal and wife, Elizabeth and Armando Villarreal all of Batesville; sisters, Consancion L. Garza of Batesville; brothers, Desidoro Luna and Juvencio Luna, Jr. both of Batesville; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Villarreal; daughter, Lorraine Villarreal; parents; brother, Jose Luna and Alberto Luna and sister, Felicita Hernandez.
A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
