Petra Ramirez

Petra Campos Ramirez of Uvalde passed away on May 16, 2009 at the age of 97, in Uvalde Healthcare Rehab Center. She was born on September 21, 1911 in Brackettville. She married Simon Ramirez in Uvalde. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Lucia Trinidad of Uvalde and Rosie Tohm and husband, Vernon of Hereford, TX; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Teresa Zapata and Sulema R. Garcia; son, Jose Morales; a brother; Benancio Uriegas and two sons-in-law, Carlos Trinidad and Manuel Zapata. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eduardo Trinidad, Richard Robles II, Ronnie Robles, Roman Diaz, Sammy Zapata, and John A. Tohm.
