Petra Ramos

Petra Garza Ramos of Batesville passed away on May 25, 2009 in her residence at the age of 61. She was born on September 13, 1947 in Charlotte, Texas to Luis and Juanita Garza. She married Roberto Ramos in Batesville, Texas on March 22, 1970. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Roberto Ramos of Batesville, Texas; one daughter; Mary Jane Vasquez of Batesville, Texas; two sons; Michael Ramos of Uvalde, Texas; and Roberto Ramos Jr. of Batesville, Texas; one sister; Isabel Rios of Batesville, Texas; one brother; Jesus Garza of Batesville, Texas; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
