Petra Rodriguez

Petra M. Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on September 25, 2011 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. She was born on December 4, 1949 to Teodoro and Juanita Suniga Moreno in Roby, Texas. She married Miguel H. Rodriguez on June 4, 1965 in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, sons, Pedro Rodriguez and wife Norma and Jose Rodriguez and wife Angel Reyna both of Uvalde, sisters Tomasa Serna and husband Frank of Dumas, Texas Nora Castro and husband Robert of Uvalde, Lillie Moreno of Brownwood, Texas Yolanda Larralde and husband Pablo of Uvalde, brothers, Gabriel Moreno of Dumas, Texas and Mario Moreno and wife Maria Gracias of Uvalde, grandchildren Miguel Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, Robbie Rodriguez, Debra Rodriguez, Victoria Rodriguez, Pete Rodriguez Jr. , Alejandra Rodriguez, Jose Sebastian Rodriguez, Dominick Ezequiel Rodriguez, Clarissa Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughters Librada Rodriguez, sister, Aurora Martinez and brother Teodoro Moreno. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. A rosary will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be on Thursday September 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
