Phillip Ybarra of Austin passed away on January 7, 2008 in his residence at the age of 43. He was born on December 14, 1964 in Uvalde, Texas to Felipe and Lucia Ybarra. He is survived by his mother Lucia Ybarra of Uvalde,Tx.; aunts; Francisca Martinez and Magdalena Canales and husband, C.P. all of Uvalde, Tx.; and Dolores Gonzales of Austin, Tx.; sisters; Isabel Morales and husband, Onofre and Anna Hill and husband, Joe all of Uvalde; brothers; David G. Ybarra and wife, Liz of Castroville, Tx.; and Moses Ybarra of Austin, Tx.; nieces; Veronica Mata and husband, Jerry; Renata M. Garcia and husband, Saul; and Victoria Hill all of Uvalde; Allison and Erica Ybarra of Castroville, Tx.; nephews; Eric Morales of San Angelo, Tx.; Robert Bubba Hill of Austin, Tx.; great nieces; Faith Mata, Brianna Morales, Mhakayelah Morales, and Nevaeh Harris; great nephew; Dhariyan Morales. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents; Ysa and Luisa Ybarra; maternal grandparents; Jose Miguel and Victoria Gonzales; aunt; Leonor Cuellar. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Rodriguez, Larry Rodriguez, Juan Orosco, Edgar Figueroa, Elliott Figueroa, Ron Craw and Daniel Duncan. Honorary pallbearers are Yolanda Figueroa, Elysia Figueroa, Iza Rivera, Carmen Cruz, Monica Arellano, Joelle Cruz, Cindy Wendling, Amy Lord, Cindy Reyes, Sandra Pruneea, and Kelly Nichols.
