Phyllis Jacques

Phyllis Maudene Tinki Jacques of Uvalde passed away on April 11, 2012 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 59. She was born on February 17, 1953 in Uvalde to Willie Lee and Nardys Hodge Burks, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jacques mother, Nardys Burks and sister, Kay Scott and husband, Ray all of Uvalde brother, Willie Lee Bill Burks, Jr., and wife, Carolyn of Lavernia, TX grandson, Dylan Westerburg of Uvalde granddaughter, Hannah Beebe of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. According to the family, Tinki loved dogs and would rescue them and find loving homes for them. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
