Primitivo Lopez

Primitivo Flores Lopez of Uvalde passed away on August 15, 2009 in Southeast Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 74. He was born on June 10, 1935 in McCoy, Texas to Reyes and Jesusita Lopez. He is survived by four daughters; Mary Lou Garza; Rosa Mary Trevino; Lupe Gutierrez and husband, Jose Juan; and Jesusita Fernandez and husband, Victor all of Uvalde, Texas; one son; Rodolfo Lopez of Uvalde, Texas; four sisters; Petra Isbell, Tomasa Andrada and Mary Mendoza all of Haskell; and Esperanza Mercado of Bloomington; one brother; Ramon Lopez of Ft. Hancock, Texas; twenty grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, San Ysidra Lopez. A rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles-Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery.
