Pura Ayala

Pura L. Ayala of Uvalde passed away on April 2, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 87. She was born on July 8, 1922 in Eagle Pass, TX to Joaquin and Petra Rodriguez. She is survived by two daughters, Romelia Perez of Uvalde and Marie Contreras and husband, Oscar of Sabinal a son, John Ayala and wife, Donna of Live Oak, TX nine grandchildren, Johnafun Ayala Anthony Ayala Elisa Perez, Clarissa Gonzalez Alejandro Perez Felisha Muniz Regina Contreras Serina Rodriguez and Marcos Contreras and nine greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Guadalupe Santos. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnafun Ayala Anthony Ayala Alejandro Perez Marco Gonzalez Lee Muniz David Rodriguez and Chris Charles.
