Pura Hinojosa

Pura Hill Hinojosa of Uvalde passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on September 22, 2013 at the age of 78. She was born on August 31, 1935 in Uvalde to Rodolfo and Ophelia Brady Hill. She married Antonio R. Hinojosa in Uvalde on October 16, 1952. She is survived by her husband of 60 years sons, Rito Antonio Hinojosa and wife Cynthia of Waterford, Michigan, Jose Luis Hinojosa and wife Rose Marie Nevarez, Alfredo Freddy Hinojosa, and Richard Hill Hinojosa and wife Anna Maria all of Uvalde brothers, Rodolfo Hill Jr. and wife Pura, Ruben B. Hill, and Rene B. Hill and wife Carmen all of Uvalde 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents son, Rodolfo Alberto Hinojosa sister, Elisa Garcia and brother, Tomas B. Hill. A rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Committal service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Hinojosa, Jose Rodolfo Hinojosa, Richard Hinojosa Jr., Jose Alejandro Hinojosa, Stephanie Marie Hinojosa, and Yolanda Maria Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodolfo B. Hill, Rene B. Hill, Luis Roberto Hinojosa, David Hinojosa, Mariah Sara Hinojosa, and Estefan Hinojosa.
