Quentin E. Looney, Jr. passed away on August 29, 2011 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 62. He was born on June 3, 1949 in Newton, Massachusetts to Quentin E. and Theresa Colaluca Looney, Sr. He married Catherine Flynn in San Antonio, TX on October 26, 1970. He is survived by his wife of 40 years son, Christopher James Looney and wife, Denise of New Braunfels daughter, Brenda Jones and husband, Jon of Orange, TX two sisters, Rose Ann Finucane and Marian Hubbard, both of San Antonio and four grandchildren, Alora and Cameron Jones and Annie and Bradlee Looney. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael M. Looney. Quentin was the parts manager at Regency for the past 38 years. According to the family, he was a loving father, husband, and grandfather who went out of his way to help people. He loved his animals and fishing at the river. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2:30 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel.
