Ramona Zamora

Mrs. Ramona S.  Zamora of Uvalde passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at her residence at the age of 82.

Ramona was born on August 12, 1938 in Santa Rita, Coahuila, Mexico to Ramon and Sara (Tamez) Salazar.

She is survived by five sons, Gregorio Alberto Zamora of Knippa, Enrique Zamora of Uvalde, Daniel Zamora and wife Olga of Knippa, Javier Zamora and wife Maricela of Knippa and Miguel Angel Zamora and companion Esmeralda Perez of Uvalde; two sisters, Amelia Duran of Uvalde, Oralia Calderon of Coahuila, Mexico; brother, Abelardo Salazar of Coahuila, Mexico; and eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Zamora, her parents and siblings; Raymundo Salazar, Jose Salazar, and Guadalupe Coronado Salazar.

Visitation for Ramona will begin Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 9;00 pm and Monday, October 26, 2020 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A rosary will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Knippa Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rigoberto Zamora, Enrique Zamora Jr., Reynaldo Zamora, Reynalda Zamora, Javier A. Zamora, Roberto Zamora, Adreanna Olivares and Christopher Olivares.
