Raul Ballesteros

Raul Reyes Ballesteros of Uvalde passed away on October 25, 2015 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. He was born on April 9, 1939 in Uvalde to Manuel and Andrea (Reyes) Ballesteros. He is survived by daughters; Donelia Ballesteros of Ft. Worth, Dora Guajardo of Uvalde and Monica Ballesteros of Corpus Christi; sons, Roy Ballesteros and wife Rachel of Crystal City, Ramiro Ballesteros and wife Rachel of Amarillo, Rudolfo Ballesteros and wife Leticia of Uvalde, Jesse Ramirez, Raul Ramirez and wife Lisa of Uvalde and Jeremy De Leon of Austin; brother, Moses Reyes Ballesteros of Dallas; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Luisa M. Ballesteros; sons, Richard and Ramon Ballesteros; brothers, Ismael Ballesteros, Ernesto Ballesteros and Manuel Ballesteros and son-and-law, Dr. Frank Guajardo. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing- Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Ramirez, Raul Ramirez, Rudolfo Ballesteros, Roy Ballesteros, Ramiro Ballesteros and Jeremy De Leon
