Raul Navejar, Sr.

Mr. Raul O. Navejar, Sr. of Uvalde passed away May 21, 2007 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 76.

He was born November 6, 1930 in Uvalde, Tx. to Jesus Petra Navejar.

He is survived by daughters, Alicia Martinez husband, Roy Elva Castillo husband, Agustin, all of Uvalde; sons, Raul Navejar, Jr. of Uvalde; Rogelio Navejar wife, Dalia of San Antonio; sisters, Consuelo Navejar; Leonor Navejar; Mary Navejar, all of Uvalde; Elida Benavides husband, Phillip of Corpus Christi; brother, Luis Navejar of Uvalde; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pura F. Navejar; brothers, Alejos Navejar Gilberto Navejar a grandson, Allen Navejar.

A rosary will be held at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary on Monday Tuesday at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Deacon Dan Ibarra will officiate.
