Raul Rodriguez

Raul C. Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on January 14, 2015 at Main Methodist Hospital of San Antonio, Texas at the age of 77. He was born on September 4, 1937 in Progreso, Coahuila, Mexico to Cruz and Maria (Castilla) Rodriguez. He is survived by one son Jose A. Rodriguez and wife San Juana of Uvalde; sisters, Maria De Jesus Martinez of Houston, Oralia Ramirez of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico and Maria Moreno of Progreso, Coahuila, Mexico; brothers, Manuel Rodriguez, Cruz Rodriguez and Zaragosa Rodriguez all of Progreso, Coahuila, Mexico, Jesus Rodriguez, Gilberto Rodriguez and Andres Rodriguez of Uvalde, Gregorio Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez and Luis Rodriguez of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, Rodrigo Rodriguez of San Marcos; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria C. Rodriguez; two brothers, Roman Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez. A rosary will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 and Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Silva, Manuel Delgado, Sergio Mendoza, Cruz Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez and Gene Rodriguez.
