Raul Sanchez

Raul Maldonado Sanchez of Uvalde passed away on December 14, 2014 in San Antonio at the age of 91. He was born on April 20, 1923 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Andres and Maria De La Luz Maldonado Sanchez. He married Bertha Rodriguez on May 25, 1952 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bertha Sanchez of Uvalde three daughters, Luz Maria Sanchez Cruz and husband Agustin of Clute Elizabeth Rueda and husband Angel of El Paso Francisca Pargas and husband Mariano of Uvalde two sons, Roberto Raul Sanchez and wife Adelina of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Andres Sanchez and wife Roselle of Lake Jackson sister, Maria De La Luz Marin of Eagle Pass brother, Juan M. Sanchez of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico 16 grandchildren, Ricardo Raul Sanchez, Carlos Antonio Sanchez, Claudia Ysela S. C. Lpez, Rocio Ana Alicia S. C. Rodriguez, Ral Agustin S. Cruz, Juan Diego Z. S. Cruz, Luz Maria P. Gonzales, Mariano S. Pargas III, Lourdes P. Barrera, Liliana P. Flores, Nicolas Sanchez, Gabriela Sanchez, Analissa Feln, Adam Feln Jr., Angel Rueda Jr. and Marissa Rueda twentyfour great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Rosaura Villarreal, Ernestina S. Martinez, Nora Loretta and Dora Martinez three brothers, Alfredo Sanchez, Apolonio Sanchez and Andres Sanchez. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary and a Vigil service on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
