Raul Torres

Raul E. Torres of Uvalde passed away on August 31, 2014 at his residence at the age of 78. He was born on March 26, 1936 in Uvalde to Pedro and Ziola Estrada Torres. He married Ramona Rodriquez on December 17, 1955 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Ramona R. Torres of Uvalde daughters, Irma Torres and husband Robert Aguero Rose Ann Gomez Carrie Lou Torres and Dora Rodriquez and husband Arturo Rodriguez all of Uvalde sons, Mike Torres and wife Victoria of Knippa Raul Torres Jr. and wife Frances of Crystal City Oscar Torres and wife Lucy Duran of Uvalde Alfred Torres and companion Sonia Trevino of Uvalde Albert Torres and companion Margaret Torres of Uvalde two sisters, Dora Canales of Rio Frio and Ziola Gonzales of Uvalde one brother, Ernesto Torres of San Antonio twentythree grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 1 greatgreat grandchild numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents sister, Maria Teresa Martinez brothers, Raymond Torres, Pedro Torres Jr. and Guillermo Torres. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 7:00 pm at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral service will be on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:00 am at Iglesia Templo Cristiano, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alfred Torres, Jr Richard Ruben Gomez III, Raul Torres III, Joshua Torres, Duncan Torres, Angel Duran, Matthew Torres, Isaiah Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Rodriguez, Bryan Rodriguez, Robert Augero, Austin Torres, Albert Torres, Jr.
