Raymunda Martinez

Raymunda Wuera Hidalgo Martinez of Uvalde passed away on December 18, 2010 in Cedar Hills Geriatric Center in Camp Wood at the age of 60. She was born on March 15, 1950 in Camp Wood to Manuel and Maria De Leon Hidalgo. She married Joe M. Martinez in Camp Wood on May 25, 1974. She is survived by her husband of 36 years a daughter, Jessica Alderson and husband, Bryan of Uvalde two sisters, Berta Salazar and husband, Gilbert of Camp Wood and Cruz Luevano and husband, Alfonzo of La Pryor three brothers, Gandy Hidalgo and wife, Lucinda of Camp Wood Leon Hidalgo and wife, Berta of Austin and Enrique Hidalgo and wife, Maria of Comfort and four grandchildren, Matthew, Cayleigh, Emily, and Garrett Alderson. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters, Jimmy Hidalgo Frank Hidalgo Sylvia Hidalgo Teodora Barajas Martha Flores and Quointa De Leon. A rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Uvalde. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Camp Wood with burial to follow in Camp Wood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Luevano, Enrique Hidalgo Jr., Johnny Vasquez, Greg Hidalgo, Antonio Hidalgo, and Tony Hidalgo.
