Reba Vera Hobbs Hicks, 95, of Camp Wood went home to be with her Lord
on July 9, 2016.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Camp Wood. The Reverend's, J.R. Rollison and Carroll Vernor will officiate.
Reba was born on February 1, 1921 on the "Sparks Ranch" east of Camp Wood to Ruby Elmo and Minnie Elvira (Harlan) Hobbs.
She is survived by her daughters, Uvette Brice and Sondra Madden and special nieces, Linda Hobbs, Patricia (Pat) Haby, Yolanda Bird and Charlene Cox. Grandchildren, K. R. Madden, Perri Madden Norton, Cheryl Barton, Branden Cason & Kasey Brice. Seven great-grand children and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth R. Hicks, two brothers, Otto Hobbs and Harlan Hobbs and two sisters, Vena Hobbs Northcutt and Ruby Hobbs Shelly.
The family says she was a witty, talented, loving Mother that enjoyed life. She was looking forward to being re-united with her family and friends, waiting for her in Heaven.
