Rebecca Gonzales

Rebecca Chapa Gonzales of Uvalde passed away at Amistad Nursing Home on June 16, 2014 at the age of 81. She was born on January 2, 1933 in Uvalde to Reynaldo and Maria Paula Cardona Chapa. She is survived by her sisters, Noemi Mejia, Refugia Cuca Hernandez, Rachel Juarez and husband Luis Jr., and Olivia Rodriguez all of Uvalde and Eva Ramos of California brothers, Reynaldo Chapa Jr. and wife Sylvia, Daniel Chapa and wife Josephina, Eugenio Chapa Sr. and Adam Chapa Sr. and wife Irma all of Uvalde. She was preceded in death by her parents brother, Daniel Chapa and Samuel Chapa. A prayer service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo Cristiano Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Aviles Jr., Jared Riso, Jesse Rodriguez III, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Levi Juarez and Aaron Caleb Chapa.
