Refugio Herrera

Refugio Herrera of Batesville passed away on November 28, 2008 at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 51. He was born on October 9, 1957 in Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mexico to Jose and Conrada Herrera. He is survived by his mother Conrada S. Herrera of Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mexico; five sisters; Alejandra Garcia of Batesville, Texas; Esperanza Herrera and Guadalupe Herrera both of Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mexico; Maria De Jesus Herrera of Houston, Texas; and Luz Elena Herrera of Rosenberg, Texas; two brothers Juan Herrera of Rosenberg, Texas; and Jose Luis Herrera of Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Herrera. A rosary will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 1:30 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Carlos Garcia, Jose Luis Garcia, Victor Garcia, Ricky Garcia, Roy Moreno, Cristian Rodriguez, Noe Hinojosa and Luis Guevara.
