Reyes Vela

Reyes Vela passed away on May 3, 2008 in Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 75. He was born on May 30, 1932 in Rocksprings, Texas to Guadalupe and Cruz Vela. He is survived by two nieces; Susie Sarzoza and husband, Tony of Houston, Texas; Marisela Villasana and husband, Joe of Sabinal, Texas; nine nephews; Eliberto Rendon and wife, Maria; Eluterio Rendon and wife, Alma; Cirilo Rendon and wife, Angelica; Joe Rendon and wife, Juana; Guadalupe Isaiz and wife, Minerva; and Juan Javier and wife , Lydia all of Uvalde, Texas; Juan Martin Isaiz and wife, Josie; and Jesse Isaiz and wife Maricela all of Bryan, Texas; and Antonio Isaiz and wife, Mary of New Braunfels, Texas; also Enrique Velas nieces and nephews; one sister, Esperanza Rendon and husband, Eluterio, Sr. of Uvalde. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Teresa Isaiz and one brother Enrique Vela. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate.
