Reynaldo Mojica of Uvalde passed away on December 31, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 71. He was born on December 27, 1948 in Crystal City, Texas to Isabel and Santiaga (Perez) Mojica.
He married Sylvia Jimenez on September 24, 1986 in Uvalde.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years of Uvalde; daughters, Laura Mojica of Uvalde and Benita Guillean of Weslaco; sons, Jose Luis Sandoval, Adrian Sandoval, Reynaldo Mojica, Jr., Eric Mojica and Jay Ray Mojica all of Uvalde; sisters, Irene Lira of Stinnett, Jane Hines of Moorehead, Minnesota and Berta Sanchez of Beaumont; brothers, Adolfo Mojica of Crystal City and David Mojica of Austin; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jose Mojica and Richard Mojica; and sisters, Josie Mojica, and Elizabeth Mojica.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 306 W. Pecos St., Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
