Reynaldo Rivas

Reynaldo Rivas of Uvalde passed away on January 14, 2021 at his residence at the age of 92.  He was born on February 28, 1928 in Progresso, Coahuila, Mexico to Manuel Rivas and Acencion Garza.

He is survived by his daughters, Blanca Rivas Zapata and Laurentina Rivas Obregon both of Uvalde; son, Victor Rivas and wife, Maria of Uvalde; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Maria Elena Rivas and Margarita Flores; and son, Fernando Rivas

Visitation will  be held on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Braulio R. Gaytan, Fernando R. Gaytan, Alberto R. Gaytan, Jose Javier Gaytan, Carlos Rivas Guerrero and Braulio Gaytan, Jr.
