Ricardo Luna, Sr.

Ricardo E. Luna, Sr. of Uvalde passed away on March 12, 2012 at the age of 53. He was born on October 15, 1958 in Uvalde to Victor and Victoria Hernandez Luna. He married Diane Hinojosa in Uvalde on January 28, 1977. He is survived by his wife of 35 years two daughters, Vicki Luna of Houston and Tanya Silva and husband, Edward of Uvalde son, Ricardo E. Luna, Jr. and wife, Chantal of California two sisters, Elva Perez of Uvalde and Lydia Magana of Austin five brothers, Victor Luna and Refugio Luna, both of California Neto Luna of Uvalde David Luna of Tennessee and Eddie Luna of San Antonio three grandchildren, Edward Luna Silva II Rikelle Luna and Riyan Luna and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and parentsinlaw, Fortunato and Joe Alice Hinojosa. A rosary will be held at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Luna Silva II Raul Perez II Miguel Hernandez III Ronnie Perez Gabriel Luna Ricardo Nieto Leonel Carrazalez Jacob Maldonado and Javier Torres. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Local Union 304 SPFPA.
