Richard Causey

Richard Allen Causey of Utopia passed away on January 13, 2011 at his residence at the age of 68. He was born on February 5, 1942 in Laredo, TX to Emmitt and Lucille Kruger Causey. He married Diane Fisher in Utopia on August 13, 1966. He is survived by his wife of 44 years daughter, Lauren Oefinger and husband, Chris of Hondo sister, Martha Diebel of Cuero brothers, Morgan Causey of Cuero Charles Causey of La Pryor and Tommy Causey of La Grange grandchildren, Jordan Oefinger Aaron Oefinger and Carson Oefinger and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Utopia Methodist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Wier Eddie Mathis Ralph Boyce Tony Clark Wayne Boyce Bill Soyars Albert Tampke Bob Kruger and ONeil Stout. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
