Ricky Fast

Ricky Lynn Fast of Uvalde passed away on June 29, 2008 at the age of 30. He was born on November 4, 1977 in West Point, Mississippi to Les and Miriam Fast. He married Melissa Boehs in Okolono, Mississippi on May 23, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 9 years Melissa Fast of Uvalde, Texas; parents; Les and Miriam Fast of Prairie, MS; four sons; Nathan Fast; Rylan Fast; Jerran Fast; and Peyton Fast all of Uvalde, Texas; three sisters; Rashelle Becker and husband, Robb of Fountain Run, KY; Holly Unruh and husband, Laramie; and Bethany Peters and husband, Brandon all of Prairie, MS; two brothers; Jeff Fast of Prairie, MS; and Lesley Fast and wife, Katie of Booneville, MS; maternal grandparents; Steve and Marie Yoder of Homeworth, OH; paternal grandparents; Percy and Evelyn Fast of Iraquois, SD. He was preceded in death by one infant brother, Terry Fast. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Mr. Sheldon Haynes officiating. Pallbearers will be Lesley Fast, Laramie Unruh, Brandon Peters, Mitch Boehs, Chad Goossen and Greg Barkman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robb Becker and Kale Buller.
