Robert Vasquez

Robert T. Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on July 7, 2017 at the Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 55. He was born on December 11, 1961 in Uvalde to Delfino Santiago and Viviana (Trevino) Vasquez.
He married Julia Acuña on May 27, 1989 in Uvalde.
He is survived by his wife, Julia A. Vasquez of Uvalde; daughters Mayra Vasquez and Sabrina Vasquez, both of Uvalde, and Samantha Vasquez of San Antonio; son Robert A. Vasquez, Jr., of Uvalde; three grandchildren; sisters Mary Santos and Ruby Garza, both of Uvalde; brother Alfredo Almendarez of Carrizo Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delfino and Viviana Vasquez; and his brother, Ruben T. Vasquez.
A rosary will be held on Sunday and Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Munoz, Larry Munoz, Domingo Velasquez, Fidencio Rivera, Johnny Trevino, and Esteban Rodriguez.
