Roberto Davila

Mr. Roberto G. Davila of Uvalde passed away on February 14, 2009 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde, Texas at the age of 63. He was born on June 7, 1945 in Valle Hermoso Tamulipas, Mexico to Domingo and Isabel Davila. He married Eva Carabajal in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Eva C. Davila of Uvalde, Texas;one daughter; Gloria Davila of Uvalde, Texas; four sons; Roberto Davila Jr. and wife Ida of Mesquite, Texas; Raul Davila and wife Rachel of Uvalde, Texas; Jimmy Davila and wife Cecilia of Uvalde, Texas; and Domingo Davila and wife Joanne of Uvalde, Texas; six sisters; Alicia Rodriquez of Plainview, Texas; Margarita Pulido of Plainview, Texas; Yolanda Cortez of Lubbock, Texas; Paulina Brace of Plainview, Texas; Dominga Cuellar of Lockney, Texas; Elizabeth Munoz of Plainview, Texas; three brothers; Prajedes Davila of Uvalde; Ismael Davila of Plainview, Texas; and Librado Davila of Plainview, Texas; nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Mr. Davila will at Templo El Paraiso in Uvalde Estates Dr. 10. A prayer service will be held on Sunday at 6:00 PM at Templo El Paraiso. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Templo El Paraiso in Uvalde, Texas with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
