Roberto “Beto” M. Sanchez, of Uvalde passed away on December 30, 2022 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 63.
Beto was born on June 29, 1959 in Monterrey, Mexico to Roberto C. and Victoria (Montemayor) Sanchez.
He is survived by daughter, Araceli Sanchez of Uvalde; two sons, Joel Sanchez and companion Adrianna Arellano of Eagle Pass and Isai Sanchez and wife Eoudulia Orta of Uvalde ; three grandchildren, Roberto Adrian Sanchez, Joel Anthony Sanchez and Victoria Teresa Sanchez; two sisters, Aurora Sanchez Montemayor and Jose Matilde Sanchez Montemayor both of Monterrey, Mexico; brother Jose Noe Sanchez Montemayor of Monterrey, Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roberto Alvarez Sanchez, parents, two sister, Maria Rosalinda Sanchez Montemayor and Maria Eusebia Sanchez Montemayor, one brother Jose Guadalupe Sanchez Montemayor.
Visitation for Beto will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. On Sunday, January 8, 2023 Beto will lay in state at Beto’s Bar from 12:00 p.m. till 2:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Isai Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, Joel Sanchez Jr. Carlos Hernandez, Cristian Sonora, David Cano, Jose Partida and Steven Rodriguez.
