Roberto Ramos

Roberto Ramos of Batesville passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 64. Mr. Ramos was born of January 22, 1951 in Batesville to Jose and Maria (Vasquez) Ramos. He married Petra Garza in Batesville on March 22, 1970. He is survived by his daughter Mary Jane Vasquez of Batesville; two sons, Michael Ramos and wife Deborah Quijano of Uvalde and Roberto Ramos, Jr and wife Melissa of Batesville; nine sisters, Dora Ramos, Leonor Ramos, Maria Elia Ramos, Luisa Hernandez, Olivia Robles, Diana Garza, Ana Rosa Ramos, Asusena Luna all of Batesville and Estela Garcia of Uvalde; three brothers, Hector Ramos, Jesus Ramos of Batesville; Ramiro Ramos of Quitaque; eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ramos was preceded in death by his wife Petra G. Ramos, parents, one sister Dora Elia Ramos and one brother Jose Luis Ramos. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 9:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville with burial to follow at Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers James Ramos, Brian Ramos, Gabriela Vasquez, Bianca Garcia, Chavela Mata, Teresa Ramos, Ismael Ramos and Jesus Ramos, Jr.
