Roberto Uriegas

Roberto Cala Uriegas of Uvalde passed away on November 19, 2010 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 70. He was born on January 26, 1940 in Uvalde, Texas to Refugio and Maximina Zepeda Uriegas. He married Ruth Ann Martinez on October 8, 1992 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann Uriegas of Uvalde, Tx. daughters Diana Uriegas Flores of Uvalde, Tx. Angelica Angie Uriegas of Uvalde, Tx. Sylvia Uriegas of Austin, Tx. Cynthia Valdez of Lytle, Tx. son Steven Solis of Lytle, Tx. sisters Eliza Morales of Uvalde, Tx. Maria Talavera of Uvalde, Tx. brothers Juan Uriegas of Uvalde, Tx. Rodolfo Uriegas of Uvalde, Tx. grandchildren Rodolfo R. Rudy Flores III, Monica Flores, Veronica Uriegas, Clarissa Trevino, Ana Lisa Trevino, Andres Valdez Jr., Samantha Valdez, Danielle Solis, Adrian Valdez, Lane Solis and Hailey Solis greatgrandchildren Joseph Christian Martinez, Stephen Garcia, Aubrey McDonald, Monika Garcia, Cal Neutze and Elena Eloisa Valdez numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Alfredo Uriegas. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday night at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Catarino R. Morales Jr., Alfred Morales, Albert U. Morales, Steven W. Solis, Andy Valdez, Andy Valdez Jr., Martin Ibarra and Rodolfo Flores III.
