Roberto Zamora Jr.

Roberto Zamora Jr. passed away on July 30, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 68. He was born on September 29, 1939 in Uvalde, Texas to Roberto and Juanita Zamora. He married Manuela De Leon on January 6, 1962 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Manuela Zamora of Amarillo, Texas; two daughters; Rosa Zamora and Rachel Zamora both of Amarillo, Texas; one son; Rodolfo Zamora of Amarillo, Texas; one sister; Rosalinda Zamora of Uvalde, Texas; two brothers; Ricardo Zamora of Uvalde, Texas and Ruben Zamora of Austin, Texas; one grandchild; Fabian Ray Flores and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son; Roberto Zamora III. A rosary will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will be officiating.
