Rochelle Eaker

Rochelle Karen Eaker of Uvalde passed away on September 23, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hosptial at the age of 65. She was born on November 18, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas to Cecil and Gladys Robinson. She married Harold Glenn Eaker in La Pryor, Texas on June 17, 1961. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Harold Glenn Eaker of Uvalde, Texas; one daughter; Belinda Murel and husband, Andrew Alaska of North Branford, Connecticut; three sons; Jonathan Eaker and wife, Nancy of College Station, Texas; Lance Eaker and wife, Boo of Houston, Texas; and Blake Eaker and fiance Lourdes Calvillo of Uvalde, Texas; one sister; Maxine Evans of Argyle, Texas; one brother Wayne Robinson; of Argyle, Texas; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother; Gayle Robinson. Visitation on Friday, September 26, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles. Funeral will be on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Brother Jerry Scott will be officiating. Memorial to Uvalde Adult Activty Center 250 E. Main St. Uvalde, Texas, and First Baptist Church 220 N. High St. Uvalde, Texas.
