Rodolfo Hill

Rodolfo Brady Hill Jr of Uvalde passed away on March 29, 2021 at his residence at the age of 83.  He was born on September 21, 1937 in Uvalde to Rodolfo Tyles Hill and Ofelia Brady.

He married Pura Gonzales on February 14, 1953 in Uvalde.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years of Uvalde; daughters, Linda Gomez and husband, Jose and Rosie Buantello and husband, Albert; son, Ricardo Hill and wife, Nelda; brother, Rene Brady Hill all of Uvalde; 10 grandchildren, Marcel Gomez Gonzales, Rodolfo Lopez Hill III, Joey Gomez, Jason Gomez, Celina Hill Hernandez, Matthew Hill Padilla, Felicia Padilla Alejandro, Jacob Hill Padilla, Carlos D. Hill and Jacob D. Hill; 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Rodolfo G. Hill III, sisters, Elisa B. Garcia, and Pura Hinojosa; and brothers, Tomas Hill, and Ruben B. Hill.

Visitation will begin on Monday at 12:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rodolfo L Hill IV, Jacob Padilla, Carlos Hill, Matthew Padilla, Jacob Hill, Jason Gomez, Joey Gomez, and Erik Gomez.
