Rogelio Vasquez

Rogelio Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on June 1, 2012 at his residence at the age of 61. He was born to Esperanza Olvedo on September 28, 1950 in Wisconsin. He married Dora Hernandez in Uvalde on January 15, 1973. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, mother of Uvalde children, Angie Hernandez and husband, Robert Cynthia Torres and Crystal Perez and husband, Daniel, all of Uvalde grandchildren, Robert Hernandez, Jr. Christian Hernandez Megan Hill Kimberly Aguero Ashley Vasquez Kaitlynn Torres Arely Torres Daniel Perez,Jr. Stephen Perez and Jayden Perez brothers, Oscar Olvedo and wife Tina of Abilene, Robert Olvedo and wife, Fina of Crystal City Joe Olvedo and wife, Rosario Armando Olvedo and wife, Rosa and Richard Olvedo and wife, Lucy, all of Uvalde sisters, Diana Karav and husband, Kyle of Minnesota and Sulema Flores of Uvalde. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary P. Vasquez. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bam Olvedo, Christian Hill, Robert Olvedo, Daniel Perez, Robert Hernandez, Adan Oscar Olvedo.
