Roger Meister

Roger Meister of Uvalde passed away on April 5, 2016 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 61. He was born on November 16, 1954 in Carrizo Springs to Ezra Meister and Elnora Marburger Meister. He married Mary Alice Bupp in Crystal City on July 9, 1983. He is survived by his wife of 32 years; son, Thomas Meister of Uvalde; sisters, Elaine Lockwood and husband, Henry "Bud" of Aransas Pass and Lenora Meister of Newport Beach, CA; brothers, Ned Meister and wife, Darla of Valley Mills, TX and Arnold Meister of Koloa, Hawaii, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ken Meister. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Meister, Preston Lockwood, Welcome Meister, and Tracy Bailey.
