Roger Yaeger

Roger Lee Yaeger of Uvalde passed away on December 6, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 74. He was born on July 22, 1945 in Guilford, New York to Anton and Lucy Belle (Rosa) Yaeger.

He married Barbara Page of Uvalde on August 14, 1984 in Hondo, Texas.

He is survived by his daughter, Misty Herrera of Uvalde; son, Trenton Yaeger and wife, Crystal of San Antonio; brother, Larry Yaeger of Saratoga Springs, New York; sisters, Betty Logan of Afton, New York, Ethel Sheldon of Canada, Joan “Joanne” Crosby of Afton, New York, Joyce Sprunger of Afton, New York, Rita Cutting of Afton, New York, Patty Davy of Dansville, New York; 2 grandchildren, Hailey Rodriguez, K.C. Brown; 1 great grandson, Hagen Hohman and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife; son, Kenneth Yaeger; brothers, Theodore “Ted” Yaeger, Harold “Hal” Yaeger, Richard “Dick” Yaeger, Wesley Yaeger; sisters, Lucy Belle Yaeger, Esther May Yaeger, Lena Poss and Mary Gohl.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde.
