Rosa Castillo

Rosa Duncan Castillo of Uvalde passed away on February 25, 2009 in San Antonio at the age of 85. She was born on February 13, 1924 in Moore, Texas to Ben and Angela Trevino Duncan. She married Adolfo G. Castillo. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Minerva Chambers and husband, Leighton of Hondo, TX; and Norma DeHoyos and husband, Ricardo, Sr. of Uvalde; one son, Ralph D. Castillo and wife, Minda Trevino of Uvalde; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and one daughter; Elena Castillo. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Ricardo DeHoyos II, Jacob DeHoyos, Samantha DeHoyos, A.J. Torres, Michael Torres, R. J. Guzman, Albert Mora and Ray Guzman.
