Rosa Flores

Rosa Flores of Uvalde passed away on May 24, 2017 at her residence at the age of 78. She was born on October 14, 1938 in Uvalde to Atilano Gonzales and Francisca Ledesma Gonzales. She is survived by her husband, Luis Flores, Sr. of Uvalde; daughters, Sylvia Madrid of San Antonio and Alicia Flores of Uvalde; sons, Luis Flores, Jr. and Jose Flores, both of Uvalde; sisters, Paulina Mireles and husband, Felix and Genoveva Morales, all of Uvalde; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Francisca Flores. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest Carballada, Jr.; Jose Flores; Frankie Carballada; Phillip Romo; Michael Garza, and Juan Torres. Honorary pallbearers will be Luis Flores, Jr. and Ernest Carballada III.
