Rosa Melchor

Rosa Lincon Melchor of Uvalde passed away on August 22, 2010 in Uvalde Healthcare Rehab Center at the age of 84. She was born n May 26, 1926 in Sacramento Coahuila, Mexico to Lorenzo and Anita Lincon. She married Tomas Espino Melchor in March 1949 in El Campo Coahuila, Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Tomas Melchor of Uvalde, Texas three daughters Maria Oralia Rodriguez and husband, Refugio of Jacksonville, Texas Alma Perez and husband, Gustavo and Juanita Villa and husband, Carlos all of Uvalde, Texas five sons Paulino Melchor and wife Maria Patricia of Laredo, Texas Jesus Melchor Miguel Melchor and wife, Dora all of Uvalde, Texas Jose Melchor and wife, Maria and Tomas Melchor Jr. and wife, Sandra all of Piedras Negras twentysix grandchildren twentyseven great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents brother Gregorio Lincon and Aunt Victoria Lopez. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gustavo Perez Jr., Gorge A. Melchor, Juan P. Melchor, Felix Melchor, Jose Ignacio Jr., Jesse Perez and Luis E. Melchor.
