Rosa Rios

Ms. Rosa L. Rios of Batesville passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in San Antonio at the age of 75. Ms. Rios was born on August 30, 1940 in Fresno, Texas to Guadalupe (Gomez) and Jesus Leal. She is survived by two daughters, Velma Mena and husband Antonio and Nelda Vasquez all of Batesville; three sons, Jesus Rios of Uvalde, Margarito Rios Jr. and wife Maria of Pearsall and Osvaldo Rios and wife Misti of Uvalde; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Rios is preceded in death by her husband Margarito Rios, parents, one brother, Jesus Rios and half-brother Juan Morris.
A rosary will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville with interment to follow at Batesville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Edward Rios, Justin Rios, Lawrence Rios, Antonio Mena Jr., Pedro Mena and Alfonso Rios.
