Rosa Zamora

Rosa Elia Zamora of Uvalde passed away at her residence on Monday, January 04, 2016 at the age of 48. She was born on August 25, 1967 in Uvalde to Jesus and Pauline (Rodriguez) Zamora. Mrs. Zamora is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Riojas of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico; two sons, Nathan Riojas and wife Jessica and Dionico Alejandro Zamora and wife Lori all of Uvalde; five sisters, Mary Lou Gardea and husband Leonardo; Dora Estella Garcia and husband Juan; Elida Gonzales; Rachel Aguilar and husband Miguel all of Uvalde and Angelita Baldovinos of Modesto, California; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margarita Lucio.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 and Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.
