Rosabel Cuellar Rios

Rosabel Cuellar Rios, 47, of Batesville passed away on February 7, 2024, at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 2 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas. Cremation will follow.  

She was born on January 2, 1977, in Woodstock, Illinois to Gloria (Hernandez) and Nieves Cuellar.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Rios, Jr., of Batesville; mother, Gloria H. Cuellar of Batesville; two sisters, San Juana Sanchez of Wisconsin and Calista Garza of Sonora; stepdaughter, Lenora Rios of Batesville; two stepsons, Michael Rios and fiancé, Yvonne Ortiz and Leland Rios both of Batesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Umberto Cuellar and Ruben Cuellar; and sister, Rebecca C. Diaz.
