Rosalia Arellano

Rosalia Z. Arellano of Uvalde passed away on August 2, 2011 at her residence at the age of 75. She was born on February 7, 1936 to Romulo and Genoveva Guajardo Zamora in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico. She married Eugenio E. Arellano on January 24, 1953. She is survived by her husband of 58 years daughters Maria Estrada and husband Chris, Maria Del Socorro Arellano, Hortencia Arellano Garcia and husband Jesse sons, Juan Arellano and wife Maria Eugenio Arellano and wife Maria, and Antonio Arellano all of Uvalde, 14 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Salvador Arellano. A rosary will be held on Wednesday August 3, 2011 and Thursday August 4, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Claudio Eugenio Arellano, Jesus Arellano, Eugenio Z. Arellano Jr., Chris Estrada, Aurelio Tellez Jr., Anthony Garcia and Salvador Arellano Jr.
