Rosaria Martinez

Rosaria Martinez of Uvalde passed away on April 7, 2018 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 75. She was born on October 1, 1942 in San Angelo to Cecilio and Dominga (Medrano) Torres.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Martinez of Uvalde and Herlinda Lopez of Irving; son, Antonio Martinez of Uvalde and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Martinez and son, Edward Martinez.
A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
