Roy Contreras

Roy A. Contreras of Uvalde passed away on December 12, 2010 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 42. He was born on February 5, 1968 in Uvalde, Texas to Leonor Contreras. He married Lisa Moreno in Uvalde, Texas on April 13, 1991. He is survived by his wife of 19 years Lisa Contreras of Uvalde, Texas mother Leonor Guzman of Uvalde, Texas three daughters Shelby Lynn Contreras, Samantha Lynn Contreras, and Sarah Lynn Contreras all of Uvalde, Texas brother Johnny Guzman and wife, Becky of Uvalde, Texas numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents two uncles Julian Contreras and Eduardo Lalo Contreras. A rosary will be held on Monday at 6:00 PM and a prayer service will follow at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with Burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor Chuck Vargulish will be officiating. Pallbearers will be P.J. Briones, Pete Luevano Jr., Rene Uriegas, Ruben Uriegas, Mike Contreras, June Ybarra, Tito Sanchez, and Dundee Chapoy.
