Roy O'Neill

Roy ONeill of Austin, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on October 5, 2014 in Austin at the age of 81. He was born on January 17, 1933 in Devine, TX to Lionel Franklin ONeill and Lucy Elner Nixon ONeill. He is survived by his son, Duane ONeill and wife, Kay of Austin daughter, Cheryl Poinsett and husband, Bill of Brazoria grandson, Cody ONeill granddaughter, Cheri Locke and husband,Tony greatgrandson, Landen Locke stepdaughters, Rhonda Linehan of Batesville and Lou Ann Hayes of Carrizo Springs and stepsister, Joyce Craig Anderson of Mansfield, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents wife, Linda Rumfield ONeill and brother, Virgil ONeill. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Duane ONeill, Cody ONeill, Roy Long, M.J. Blackman, Ruben Rivera, and A.D. Looney. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312, www.diabetes.org.
