Ruben Rodriguez

Ruben Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on June 5, 2016 at his residence at the age of 44. He was born on December 20, 1971 in Robstown, TX to Jesus Roberto Rodriguez, Sr. and Oralia Ramirez Rodriguez. He married Araceli Lugo in Uvalde on October 27, 2007. He is survived by his wife of eight years; father, Jesus R. Rodriguez, Sr. of Pleasanton; step-father, Juan Pardo of Seguin; six children, Oralia Rodriguez of Amarillo, and Ruben Rodriguez, Jr. and companion, Deanna Clark all of Amarillo, Miguel Rodriguez and companion, Ivory Casarez of Canyon, TX; Tiffany Victoria Rodriguez of Amarillo, and Nakisha Monik Rodriguez and Jesus Antonio Rodriguez, both of Uvalde; two brothers, Robert Rodriguez and companion, Denise Reyes, and Juan Ramirez and wife, Charlene, all of Uvalde; five sisters, Soila Rodriguez and husband, Rafael Guajardo of Uvalde, Sonia Castillo and companion, Julio Torres of Midland, TX, Monica Rodriguez and companion, Oscar Rosales of Arlington, TX, Adriana Martinez and husband, Robert of Grand Prairie, TX, and Mary Jane Perez and husband, Jose of New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren, Zakaryah Ruben Rodriguez, Aracely Jelena Guadarrama, Osiah Elijah Rodriguez, and Avory Maylynn Rodriguez, all of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery.
