Ruben Vasquez

Mr. Ruben T. Vasquez of Knippa, passed away in Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 48.

He was born June 20, 1958 in Uvalde, Texas to Defino Santiago Viviana Vasquez.

He was married to Maria Trevino on October 18, 2003 in Knippa, Tx.

He is survived by his wife, Maria T. Vasquez of Knippa, Tx.; parents, Defino Santiago Viviana Vasquez of Uvalde, Tx.; daughters, Anna Maria Vasquez husband, Martin Moreno of Oklahoma; Monica V. Mendola husband, Pablo of Uvalde; step-daughters, Michelle Rodriguez of Uvalde; Christina Garza husband, Eusebio of Knippa; Laura R. Esquivel husband, Baldemar of Hondo; step-sons, Esteban Rodriguez wife, Crystal Esquivel Robert Rodriguez, all of San Antonio; sisters, Esmeralda Mary Santos husband, Ernest Ruby V. Garza, all of Uvalde; brothers, Alfredo Almendarez Robert Vasquez, both of Uvalde; 17 grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
