Ruby Allen

Ruby Mellie Allen of Uvalde passed away on November 13, 2008 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was born on July 7, 1920 in La Pryor, Texas to Adolf and Mildred Haag. She is survived by one sister; Mildred Sparky Durham of Levelland, Texas; special friends; Sarah Greer, Samantha Bussell, Buster Petty and Lynn, Michael Goulla, Jolene Keeney and family, and Kathy Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Allen; three brothers; Hans, Fritz, and Alvin Buster Haag; three sisters; Rosa Sellers, Ida Mae Bullard, and Lena Haag. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM in Leona Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Buster Petty, Mark Keeney, Taylor Bussell, Ray Bussell, and Israel Saiz. Memorials may be made to the Uvalde Co. Historical Commission co Bill Mitchell Uvalde Co. Courthouse Uvalde, Texas 78801 or the Charity of one's choice.
